Our client is a NYSE listed American designer, manufacturer and marketer of high-end tools and equipment for professional use in the transportation industry including the automotive, heavy duty, equipment, marine, aviation, and railroad industries. Annual sales revenue exceeds US$4 billion and in Asia, they have sales offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. They are looking for a competent Product Specialist (Automotive Equipment) to be based in Singapore: PRODUCT SPECIALIST (AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT) (MNC) Job Highlights: Basic monthly salary – S$3,000 to S$3,800 Car Allowance – S$1,400 per month Petrol Allowance – Up to S$500 per month(reimbursement basis) Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) (13th month salary) Quarterly and yearly incentive Medical/Dental Benefits Job Responsibilities: Handle sales of company’s range of automotive equipment products in industrial markets Strategize, prioritize and monitor business plans to meet sales goals and objectives Develop product and sales strategies to grow business in targeted industrial segments Develop marketing and promotion programs to build brand name and drive volume Increase market share as well as expand distribution channels and customer base Develop and manage key accounts Job Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 2 to 3 years of industrial sales experience with car servicing equipment in the automotive industry Experience in handling distribution channels as well as managing resellers/dealers Team player with a mature personality and the ability to work independently under pressure Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Face Chinese Clients) Must possess own vehicle These Job Descriptions are for reference only, and whilst these are intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, it is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements
