This role supports the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks that enable compliant, ethical, and trustworthy use of AI across the organization.The AI Governance Program Manager Senior partners closely with Legal, Privacy, Product, Engineering, Security, and Risk teams to assess AI and data-related risks, support regulatory compliance efforts, and operationalize governance controls across Dayforce’s AI ecosystem. This individual combines strong analytical skills, governance expertise, and technical understanding of AI systems to help ensure Dayforce’s AI solutions align with evolving regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governance objectives.This role reports to the leader of AI Governance.What you'll get to do • Interpret emerging AI governance regulations, standards, and industry frameworks, and apply them to real-world AI use cases across the organization. • Support AI governance compliance initiatives by identifying gaps, recommending remediation activities, and assisting with internal and external audits. • Conduct and own risk assessments for complex AI systems, including identifying systemic risks, monitoring model bias trends, and evaluating mitigation strategies. • Participate in AI model and algorithm reviews to assess governance, compliance, ethical, and operational risk considerations. • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of AI governance frameworks, controls, standards, and operational processes. • Map governance controls to applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards such as ISO, NIST, and emerging AI regulatory frameworks. • Lead components of governance framework reviews and drive continuous improvements to governance processes and documentation. • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, Legal, Privacy, and Enterprise Risk teams to operationalize responsible AI practices. • Develop governance reports, presentations, risk summaries, and technical documentation tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Support governance committees, audit activities, and regulatory inquiries with minimal oversight. • Manage governance initiatives end-to-end, including timelines, dependencies, stakeholder coordination, and delivery accountability. • Evaluate AI and data architecture considerations to identify governance, compliance, privacy, and operational risks associated with AI systems. • Support metadata governance, model documentation, model inventory management, and AI lifecycle governance activities. • Anticipate business impacts of governance decisions and communicate recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organization. • Help foster a culture of responsible AI, ethical data usage, and continuous governance improvement across Dayforce.Skills and experience we value • 5+ years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, data governance, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, model risk management, or related fields. • Post-secondary education certificate or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Data Governance, Law, Business, or a related discipline required. • IAPP certification preferred. • Strong understanding of AI governance principles, model risk management concepts, and responsible AI practices. • Familiarity with global AI and data regulations, frameworks, and standards including ISO, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, GDPR, and related governance requirements. • Experience conducting risk assessments, control evaluations, or compliance reviews for AI, data, or technology systems. • Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle concepts, model behavior evaluation, bias detection, performance monitoring, and governance implications of AI systems. • Ability to interpret technical concepts and translate governance or compliance impacts for diverse audiences. • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and complex situations. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the abil
