Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Project Management : Project Manager Purchasing for Supplier parts - End to end co-ordination from RFQ to ECR release. Categorize parts, derive holistic Bundling strategy (e.g. Part families, Material, Clusters) Support for alternate source development (Risk Management) Execute Sourcing of Components (PILUM, Technical Supplier Discussion, Technical & Commercial feasibility confirmation, Risk assessment etc.) Global co-ordination for relocation/transfer projects. Execute Sample Ordering of Components, including needed coordination with CFT (VQP, PPAP.) Change management (ECR) for procured parts. Conduct periodic and structured reviews with the CFT and steer the project towards timely completion. Conduct idea generation workshops to identify cost savings potentials through Design RPP, Standardization, Supplier optimization etc. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial engineering, Equivalent. Professional experience in Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management desired. Strong technical knowledge on drawing interpretation, interpreting, and understanding of technical norms. Knowledge on Manufacturing process of Mechanical parts and cost calculations desired Good MS Office, SAP and knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage. High degree of goal and result orientation. Communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and assertiveness. Independent and structured way of working. Experience: 7-9 years of experience in Purchasing/Project Management/Engineering/Manufacturing Additional Information Project target achievement (Quality, Cost, Delivery) as per timelines. Purchasing representative in running projects & series support. Interface to BU and VS for Purchasing Representation of purchasing in SE teams and coordination of SE work with suppliers. RPP projects: generate ideas, successful implementation, and reporting.
