Job Description
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles. Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair work on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, and other vehicle components. Use diagnostic equipment and computerized testing tools to identify vehicle performance issues. Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Repair or replace defective parts and components according to manufacturer specifications. Assist in testing and evaluating vehicle performance after repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation. Interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and service bulletins to perform repair and maintenance tasks. Support engineering teams in vehicle testing, product improvements, and technical investigations when required. Ensure proper use of workshop tools, equipment, and safety procedures. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and customers regarding technical issues and repair recommendations.
