COMPANY DESCRIPTION Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement and promote occupational health programmes as well as provide recommendations on protective measures to control health risks and exposure to occupational health hazards Develop and implement safety related systems/procedures/initiatives to meet HSEQ policy guidelines and statutory requirements Recommend improvements to existing OS&H policies and procedures as well as coordinate resolution of implementation problems in order to enhance refinery HSE performance Perform HSE/ISO/SMS internal audit and participate in periodical inspections to verify compliance to rules & regulations and identify areas for enhancing safety performance Conduct training for staff & contractors on HSE matters as well as implement promotional programmes where required to raise awareness on new or changes in HSE-related procedures Advise on major accident hazards and provide guidance on corrective and preventive measures QUALIFICATIONS Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Chemistry, HSE or equivalent with formal competency certification by recognized authority to practice industrial hygiene independently At least 3 years' (Degree holder) OR 5 years' (Diploma holder) HSE experience, preferably in the Oil/Petrochemical industry. Candidate without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level position.
