Roles and Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain customer-centric automation solutions for existing and new product initiatives.
● Create, review, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
● Build and enhance robust API automation frameworks using technologies such as TestNG, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
● Advocate and champion quality coding and best practices.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective quality assurance strategies.
● Drive quality engineering best practices and advocate automation-first approaches across teams.
● Analyze requirements, identify test impacts, and ensure adequate test coverage for all releases.
● Develop internal tools and utilities to improve testing efficiency, scalability, and product quality.
● Participate in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and defect resolution activities.
● Monitor and report test execution results, quality metrics, and overall test coverage.
● Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates to enable continuous testing and delivery.
Skills required:
● 3-6 years of experience in Testing and Automation.
● Proficient in any programming language (Java/Python)
● Hands-on experience with API testing and automation using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured, Karate, or similar.
● Good understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and API design principles.
● Experience with Postman and API validation techniques.
