Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Semiconductor Tooling Specialist to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing precision tooling, molds, and dies used in our semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with the equipment and process engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime, ensure high yield rates, and maintain strict compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities Tooling Management & Maintenance Execute routine preventative maintenance (PM) , calibration, and cleaning of high-precision semiconductor tools, jigs, fixtures, and molds. Troubleshoot and repair tooling defects or wear-and-tear issues to minimize production downtime and maintain continuous manufacturing line operations. Manage the inventory of tool spare parts , tracking usage rates and coordinating with procurement to ensure critical spares are always in stock. Process Optimization & Quality Control Analyze tooling performance and wear data to identify root causes of failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with Process and Equipment Engineers to optimize tooling designs, aiming to improve product yield, reduce defects, and extend tool lifespans. Inspect incoming new or refurbished tooling from vendors to ensure strict adherence to engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and quality specifications. Documentation & Compliance Maintain meticulous documentation of all tooling modifications, maintenance logs, and calibration records in the manufacturing execution system (MES). Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tool handling, setup, and maintenance. Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations , cleanroom protocols (Class 10/100/1000 environments), and 5S methodology standards.
