Job Description
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain PLC software for complex industrial process automation systems Program and configure Siemens S7-1500 PLC systems Design, integrate, and support HMI and SCADA applications Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to ensure system functionality and compliance Provide on-site commissioning, startup, and technical support at customer sites globally Perform troubleshooting, system testing, and optimisation during commissioning activities Collaborate closely with process, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams throughout project execution Prepare, maintain, and update automation and technical documentation Requirements: Proven experience in Siemens S7-1500 PLC programming Hands-on experience with TIA Portal Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and process control Ability to understand and work with complex industrial processes Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning and project support activities Self-motivated, independent, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders across system design, programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities Experience with SCADA systems will be an advantage Prior experience in the gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, or other process-related industries is preferred.
