Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Operations Manager to take full ownership of our daily delivery function — from driver management and route planning to customer-level on-time performance. This is a hands-on management role with direct responsibility for a team of drivers and all associated delivery logistics. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and manage a team of delivery drivers across three delivery groups, ensuring daily route coverage for all lunch and dinner deliveries Plan and optimise daily delivery routes and schedules to achieve reliable, on-time delivery to all customer sites Coordinate driver assignments, standby cover, and contingency arrangements for absences or vehicle issues Oversee cash collection from customers; assign collection duties to drivers and verify collections against outstanding balances Act as the primary point of contact for delivery-related customer issues; resolve complaints and escalate where necessary Monitor delivery performance and proactively identify and address recurring delays, route inefficiencies, or driver conduct issues Liaise with the management team on operational changes, new customer onboarding, and changes to delivery schedules Ensure compliance with all applicable traffic, vehicle, and safety regulations Maintain accurate records of delivery activity, collections, and driver schedules Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a delivery operations, transport management, or logistics supervisory role Degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management Proven experience managing a team of drivers or field operations staff Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment Comfortable handling cash collection processes and maintaining accurate records Good communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage for coordinating with a diverse team Possession of a valid Singapore driving licence is
