Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the safety, EHS performance for subcontractors / areas under his supervision; Ensures that safety procedures are complied with at all times and coordinate correct workpermit application and implementation; Reports directly to the Building Engineer and ultimately the Construction Manager; Supervises assigned sub-contractors, Building / Area in the field; Attends all sub-contractor meetings related to construction and EHS; Follows project specific SOP’s; Coordinates with peers on sequencing / general coordination; Update Construction Manager / planner on progress / issues; Complies with commercial FI process (liaising with package engineer where required); Coordinates with responsible parties to ensure specifications and quality standards arecomplied with; Continually supervises, monitors and tracks site activities and contractors’ progress; Conducts continuous inspections and assesses the work performance and quality achievedby the sub-contractors (referencing to code and/or mock-ups); Understand and interpret the scope and drawings for the subcontractors under supervision; Liaise with package owner on technical items for required information or approval; Identifies and takes corrective actions on non-conformities and punch-listing. Conversant with the requirements and responsibilities as set out in MOM guidelines and Acts, where this can be used to settle identified conflict between corporate and government responsibilities, if any. Responsible of managing Exyte general workers on site in the absence of Construction Manager Job Requirements: NTC from ITE Diploma in a related Engineering discipline Degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering or relevant engineering disciplines Significant Trade Experience in the construction of multi-storey industrial/commercial buildings 8-10 years relevant experience
