Role Responsibilities Develop and make presentations of prospective client’s request for proposal responses, provide webinar / conference call / in-person presentations to prospects & existing clients, and general sales support services. Research, analyse and interpret data on marketplace trends, competitors, customers, suppliers, and changes in the Energy markets, particularly in regard to renewable energy and sustainability. Cheek by jowl with existing regulatory and government energy related policies that often affect the energy and carbon markets. Participate in the development of microgrids, virtual power plant, EV charging infrastructure and including consulting and other services for clients. He/She will work with clients on specific projects and activities, including ongoing communications, project administration and presentation of renewable energy, energy storage, recommendations, and assessments. Pursuing new sales leads and development of proposals to global and local clients based on their listed and implied needs. Proposals may be in response to a formal request for proposal or offered per discussions with prospective clients, our an upsell to an existing client. Experience dealing with renewable energy IPP/EPC, developers, utilities, and large-scale power producers. Understand the growth of renewable and their impact of carbon emissions. Contribution to product strategies. Maintain company’s clients’ relations i.e., including arranging and participating in meetings with clients, follow ups, and other arrangements. Screens, processes, copy and attend to inquires received through VFT’s website and other mediums relative to business development/product enquiry. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or another related field. 5 to 8 years or more in strategy, technical sales or consulting, preferably in battery/ energy storage/renewable energy industries.
