Job Description
To qualify for a GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience serving as a system administrator for application systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux workstations and servers. Experience installing software similar to Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and workstations. Experience applying DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) as in to Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems. Experience planning, scheduling and participating in the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications software. Experience managing user and administrator accounts, network permissions, and access to systems and equipment. Experience resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems. Experience managing the installation and integration of systems fixes, updates, and enhancements including Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Computer Network Directives (CND), and additional authoritative guidance. Experience in learning and utilizing information technology (IT) concepts, principles, methods, and practices. Experience in administering systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or greater, VMware vSphere 7.0 or greater, and Junos OS. AND 1.
