Job Description The role involves reviewing fund NAV packages, financial statements, and capital account statements for accuracy and compliance Handling audit processes including coordination with external auditors and managing documentation requirements Supporting tax reporting and quarterly estimates in partnership with internal and external stakeholders Preparing and analyzing financial data for management and investor reporting purposes Assisting with investor communications, reporting requests, and fundraising support activities Monitoring fund liquidity and supporting capital calls, distributions, and financing activities Reviewing management fee calculations and carried interest models while resolving discrepancies Mentoring junior team members and ensuring quality through structured review and guidance The Successful Applicant A successful Assistant Controller - Private Funds should have: Candidate should have 6 to 8 years of experience in fund accounting with prior exposure to audit or asset management setups Professional certification such as CPA, ACA, or ACCA is required Strong understanding of private fund structures, NAV reporting, and investor capital accounting is essential Hands-on experience with financial reporting, audits, tax coordination, and fund operations is expected Familiarity with fund credit facilities, ISDA agreements, and compliance frameworks is preferred Experience in reviewing team output and mentoring junior staff is highly valued Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting systems, and stakeholder communication is critical A university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is mandatory What's on Offer Comprehensive leave policy and other employee benefits.
