Adjunct – Advanced Pathophysiology and Pharmacology for Nurse Educators– Online (Remote) – College of Nursing and Health Care Professions Are you passionate about shaping future health care leaders and helping students discover their purpose? The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions at GCU is seeking knowledgeable, mission-driven Adjunct Faculty to teach Advanced Pathophysiology and Pharmacology for Nurse Educators online. This course focuses on advanced physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacologic principles. This course will guide the Nursing Education learner in interpreting changes in normal function that result in symptoms indicative of illness and the effects of select pharmacologic substances on that process. Evidence-based research provides the basis for determining the safe and appropriate utilization of medications and herbal therapies on human function. Appropriate education for various prescribed pharmacologic agents is incorporated. Required: Required: Master’s in Nursing or Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO) or Pharmacology Doctorate (PharmD) or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. Graduate degree must be from an accredited university. Nurses must maintain an active, current, unrestricted and unencumbered AZ or Multi-state RN l
