Job Description
We are looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class OMC Network Engineer to join our growing team within Corporate Infrastructure Services. The positions responsibilities involve operational support - Experience as a network engineer with deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment and hands-on experience in physical infrastructure installations including hardware integration, racking, and cabling - Experience with physical layer technologies - Experience in at least one infrastructure tech domain (e.g. networking, storage, server, OS Windows/Linux platforms) - Experience with IP networking fundamentals and TCP/IP, UDP, DNS & DHCP - Experience in internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, ISIS and/or OSPF - Experience in network administration - Experience in project management at enterprise level - Work in a 24/7 environment - 2+ years of network engineering and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment, including hands-on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking, and cabling experience - 3+ years of physical layer technologies experience - 3+ years of network administration experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or other related fields
