Job Description
The (in-house) Surveyor is required to examine accident-damaged vehicles within defined service standards. He/She will be manually conducting the physical inspection of third-party vehicle(s) at third-party workshop; he/she will also be expected to perform the following during survey, re-inspection or site survey: Physically examine accident vehicle, inspect damaged spare part items listed in the estimate quotation. Take photographs of accident damaged vehicle, spare parts, supplementary parts, hidden spare parts, before and after repair. Conduct physical re-inspection of accident vehicle for supplementary parts and hidden damages part items not listed in the estimate quotation. Conduct re-inspection of vehicle before and after spray painting. Conduct accident site inspection and taking measurement of accident site, if necessary. Negotiate and reduce the cost of repair submitted by third party workshops when conducting physical inspection and re-inspection. Conduct physical re-inspection of third party vehicle due to dispute of repair costs. Coordinate and updating market changes. To generate survey report after finalization with third party workshop. To provide estimate or estimated third party repair costs for initial reserving. To ensure motor repair estimation is received from third party workshops in accordance with the survey report. Provide market value of damaged salvage vehicles. Maintain close coordination with the motor claims teams. Any other duties as assigned. Skills Sound knowledge of various motor vehicles, their market values, various repair procedures and costs, claim procedures, etc. Experience 3-5 years experience in motor survey. Education Diploma or Certificate related to motor vehicles
