Basic Requirement for Information Technology Specialist (System Administration): Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Responding to database failures to determine the source of problem. 2) Analyzing information to determine if programs require modification or replacement. AND 3) Developing server-based programs to ensure requirement for the organization are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
