Job Summary The role is responsible for driving sales performance and expanding distribution channels for the Transamerica Life (Bermuda) Singapore Branch Office (“TLB”). This includes cultivating new strategic partnerships, facilitating bespoke engagement to existing distribution partners; leading a high-performing distribution team, which includes but not limited to conducting effective product training, managing strategic communication across business partners. Responsibilities Achieve the Sales Target of the Singapore Branch Office by: Identifying and creating robust and sustainable channels for growth through acquisition of new business partner Driving increased penetration with existing business partners. Building, managing, and maintaining relationships with key distributors through mutual opportunities to position TLB’s propositions against competitions. Delivering the highest quality and relevant product and sales training program to business partners. Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of communication messages to all appropriate levels within business partners. Support the department on day-to-day enquiries on products, illustrations, and sales techniques. Active member of the TLB Singapore management team in sales related projects to drive distributions to achieve sales results. Lead, manage and coach the Strategic Distribution team in Singapore to enhance the team capabilities and achievement of goals. Keep up to date with major developments related to products offered and significant changes in the insurance market. Handle special projects and other assignments as delegated. Requirements Possess a degree qualification and having insurance related professional qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum 15years of sales and staff management experience within the life insurance sector displaying a high degree of leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
