Job Description
The WSHO Officer is responsible for ensuring all workplace safety and health regulations are complied with across company operations. This includes monitoring site activities, enforcing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. Please note that it is a 6-day work week Job. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with WSH Act , MOM , and NEA safety requirements Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures Enforce safety rules, procedures, and safe work practices on-site Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all workers Liaise with Operations Managers, supervisors, and external authorities Monitor high-risk activities (e.g. lifting, marine operations, machinery use) Requirements: Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM Relevant experience in construction, marine, or logistics industry preferred Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and safety standards Strong attention to detail and enforcement ability Good communication and reporting skills Able to work on-site and handle multiple locations if required Skills & Competencies: Safety management and risk assessment Incident investigation and reporting Strong leadership and enforcement skills Communication and training ability Problem-solving and decision-making
