Essential duties and responsibilities: · Provide inspired leadership for the organization in setting goals that promote company growth. · Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions. · Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures. · Assist HR with recruiting when necessary. · Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. · Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing. · Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations. · Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals. · Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company. · Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations. · Support worker communication with the management team. · Oversees daily activity of the team · Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed · Provides advice and guidance to other employees · Manages team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines · Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs · Improves existing systems and policies · Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner · Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace · Identifies improvement areas and plans and implements systems to boost company effectiveness · Manages internal and external service suppliers · Executes plans designed to meet company goals by changing policies and coaching employees. Operations Manager Requirements: · Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the elevator industry · Bachelor’s degree with operations management experiences and strong technical knowledge. Five years' experience in managing operations · Experience in management, operations, and leadership. · Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
