We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Trucking Insurance Underwriter/Broker to join our Transportation team. This role is responsible for evaluating, quoting, and managing new and renewal business within the commercial auto and trucking sector. The ideal candidate can manage a high-volume workload while maintaining strong relationships with retail agency partners and carriers, making informed, data-driven underwriting decisions that align with strategic growth and profitability goals. Key Responsibilities Underwriting & Risk Analysis: Evaluate new and renewal commercial trucking accounts—up to 40 per week—with premiums ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 Analyze risk by utilizing loss runs, MVRs, CAB reports, FMCSA data, and other relevant underwriting materials Make eligibility and pricing recommendations in alignment with underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites Proposal Preparation & Market Submission Prepare comprehensive market submissions, quote proposals, and/or coverage comparisons.
