Job Description
Key Responsibilities Coordinate import and export sea freight shipments. Arrange bookings with shipping lines and freight forwarders. Prepare and process shipping documents such as:Bill of Lading (B/L)Packing ListCommercial InvoiceCertificate of Origin Monitor shipment schedules and track cargo movement. Liaise with customers, shipping lines, agents, hauliers, warehouses, and customs authorities. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping requirements. Handle cargo clearance and delivery arrangements. Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues. Provide freight quotations and negotiate rates with carriers and vendors. Update shipment status reports and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, operations, and finance. Ensure timely invoicing and cost control for shipments. Other task required by management Skills Required Knowledge of international shipping and Incoterms. Understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight management systems. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Minimum 2-3 years of Seafreight experience
