Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of our power and motion control systems for our robotic systems. This role is an opportunity to lead the long-term architecture - 10+ years of electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment experience - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - 4+ years of motor controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components) experience - Experience developing products for large volume production - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization - Strong PCB design and layout skills (Altium, KiCad, or similar) with an understanding of high-power circuits, signal integrity, and thermal constraints - Experience with lithium-ion battery systems, BMS hardware/software, and power distribution architectures - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and motor test benches - Proficiency with embedded system interfaces (FDCAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, USB) and experience working with STM32 microcontrollers - Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and compliance standards for industrial or robotics systems - Experience working in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or other real-time electromechanical systems
