Low-Voltage Electrical Engineer Up to $4,500 basic + variable bonus . Location: Vision Exchange, Jurong East Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Exposure to innovative marine electrification, hybrid propulsion, and energy storage projects. Opportunity to work with leading shipyards, vessel owners, and global equipment suppliers. We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Electrical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge electrical power systems, battery energy storage solutions, vessel automation, and propulsion integration projects from concept through to commissioning and vessel delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Lead and manage marine electrical and hybrid vessel projects from project kick-off to final delivery. Develop, monitor, and coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource planning. Work closely with shipyards, shipowners, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and classification societies. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual, technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Monitor project budgets, variation orders, and cost performance. Engineering & Technical Support Review and coordinate engineering deliverables including: SingleLine Diagrams (SLD) Load flow and short-circuit calculations Protection coordination studies General arrangement drawings and system layouts I/O lists and interface documentation Oversee the integration of: DC and AC switchboards Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Power Management Systems (PMS) Alarm Monitoring Systems (AMS) PLC control systems Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Electric and hybrid propulsion systems Ensure compliance with marine classification requirements such as DNV, BV, RINA, CCS, and other relevant standards.
