Job Description
Role Overview The Youth Engagement and Advocacy Specialist will work across AGIP's members and Girl Advisors, and with multiple external partners and stakeholders, to lead on strategic adolescent girl and youth engagement and safeguarding processes and activities. The role will involve managing the Adolescent Girls Advisory Committee, leading AGIP's advocacy portfolio, and supporting Secretariat activities to strengthen coalition delivery and impact. What You Will Do The post-holder will be responsible for advancing AGIP's girl and youth engagement and safeguarding strategy, developing tools and resources, leading the Adolescent Girls Advisory Committee, managing the AGIP Girl Advocacy Fund, and providing technical advice on safeguarding and meaningful girl and youth engagement. Why It Might Be a Fit The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of girl and youth engagement best practice, technical expertise in safeguarding adolescent girls and youth, and proven experience engaging with adolescent girl and youth advocates. The role requires strong advocacy skills, experience designing and delivering engaging spaces, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
