MANAGER/ SENIOR MANAGER - Electrical and Motion Control (Hardware/Technical/ Engineering/ Automation/ Control/Mechatronics/R&D) Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. Responsibilities: Lead and manage Motion Control, Electrical Hardware, and Electrical Design team, providing both people and technical leadership. Define overall technical direction for motion control systems and electrical hardware architecture for semiconductor equipment. Guide motion control modelling, control algorithms, and system analysis for high-speed,high-precision applications. Oversee electrical schematic design, power electronics, motor drivers, and control boards. Support new product development from concept, design, prototype, Alpha/Beta testing through product release. Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, cost, and schedule targets. Establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices. Review and approve key technical designs and resolve complex technical issues. Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Applications, QA). Requirements: Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, semiconductor equipment, or precision machinery industry. Expertise in motion control modeling and algorithms for ultra-high speed and high accuracy applications. Proficient in control system analysis and design, including servo motor and motion control systems. Strong knowledge of digital electronics and power electronics design, including power supplies and motor drivers. Familiarity with analytical and simulation tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, or equivalents. Understanding of electromagnetic technology for motor design.
